Yesterday I went back to the walk that I couldn't finish last weekend as I couldn't find my way out of a field well yesterday we did when I say we I was with my Son Matt who is an intrepid cross country walker and great company we started at the footpath which starts at the "Lower Rochester Road"at the top end of Bill Streetwhere the roundabout is situated we walked down the footpath to Chattenden through the orchard and past the R E Depot and then over a style where the second part of our walk starts which is always full of sheep(the sheep know us by now)LOL.About half way along this field on the left is another style which we climb over and keeping to the right we proceed through the extremely tall wet grass3ft high to the end of the field right next to the dual carriageway(228)where I was told that there is a public right of way out, well there wasn't we searched thoroughly and decided that we were not going back a second time so down in to a ditch and up the other side we went through brambles finally coming on the side of the dual carriageway which was roaring with heavy traffic it was quite scary trying to cross but finally we made it me being an octogenarian (smile) hope you like the photos this walk in total was 13,000 wonderful steps.
