Yesterday morning decided to go for what I call a "A step down memory lane" for yours truly from my humble abode to our local Rochester Castle which I hadn't done for years used every back alley to keep us away from the traffic and the noise it was a long walk as most of it was on tarmac but never the less most enjoyable and it was 14000 steps here are a few images taken a long the way.
Hello yesterday (Saturday morning)You sometimes get bad days and sometimes good days this was physically a bad day I felt extremely nauseous and my feet felt like rubber but you cannot let how you feel dictate where you go and what you decide to do so off I went walking from woo's nest to Borstal and crossing our beautiful River Medway by way of the new M2 bridge the views are exceptional and although the woods walk was lovely the tarmac walk across the actual bridge was a hard task it was a longish walk but one I had not done before so with that here are some images I would like to share with you.
Hello my friend its not just that its taken me an hour to join this GOV one UK as I am just about computer savvy first I had to open my passport and get the inside page in the little frame just right and then would you believe place the passport on the table and then place the phone on top of the passport so that it could read the Biometric sign at the bottom of the passport and when you finally get to log on to the Gov one then you find what Gov department you require it sends another code to your phone ,so you can imagine yours truly with mobile in one hand laptop codes arriving by the dozen typing the codes on the laptop what do millions of senior citizens do who haven't got the understanding of this wonderful technology

Its been a good weekend on Saturday I went for a walk in Shorne just above Higham on the map and about 15 minutes from home I went to see if progress had spoiled one of my favourite walks and indeed it has its the site of the new Thames crossing which is the third one and its going to be a tunnel under the Thames from Essex to Kent right on my doorstep so to speak.The Medway Towns is rapidly shrinking at an alarming rate I now know that I have indeed been most fortunate in being born in 1945 and growing up in the 1950's and 60's when life was hard but people were different and happy has everyone had the same absolutely nothing but a sparce diet and a sense of humour to live on (LOL) here are a few images I took along the way.
