Good evening everyone its been another Bonus of a day

 This morning I went to a place called "Cardiac Hill" in Shorne Country Park to see if I could still climb this hill with a torrid reputation to be honest I didn't feel 100% (its a  chronic condition which rears its ugly head from time to time)but I went anyway you know me I love a challenge ,I last climbed Cardiac Hill 3 years ago when I was a young 78 LOL anyway I went I saw and I conquered  people often asked why do I walk so much and so far and the simple answer is because I still  can and its always been a personal reason for me.

 Yes its August and I have just turned 81 now and I am still walking the footpaths of Kent with my Son Matt ,Susie(Shi-Tzu) and Bella (Pom-Shi)which now take me across cornfields through apple orchards and a new Kentish landscape its Vineyards  which in my humble opinion are much better than new houses. I love where I live I never tire of waking up to each new day whatever it brings its called having a" zest for life".It seems that the older I get the more important my time becomes as there is less of it left.(LOL)

 This is my River Medway for over 80 years now I have worked on it played on it and thoroughly enjoyed it ,it a beautiful river now crossed by new bridge where the M2 and the Eurostar run across it and an old Rochester bridge this present bridge since 1851 first original bridge built by the Romans in 1115  and yes you can walk over both of them and yes I have done frequently and each time is like walking over for the first time
