Good morning all my friends have a lovely day

Hello my friend its not just that its taken me an hour to join this GOV one UK as I am just about computer savvy first I had to open my passport and get the inside page in the little frame just right and then would you believe place the passport on the table and then place the phone on top of the passport so that it could read the Biometric sign at the bottom of the passport and when you finally get to log on to the Gov one then you find what Gov department you require it sends another code to your phone ,so you can imagine yours truly with mobile in one hand laptop codes arriving by the dozen typing the codes on the laptop what do millions of senior citizens do who haven't got the understanding of this wonderful technology I have a headache now so I am going 

for a technology free walk

Good afternoon everyone sincerely hope that you have had a lovely Sunday

 Its been a good weekend on Saturday I went for a walk in Shorne just above Higham on the map and about 15 minutes from home I went to see if progress had spoiled one of my favourite walks and indeed it has its the site of the new Thames crossing which is the third one and its going to be a tunnel under the Thames from Essex to Kent right on my doorstep so to speak.The Medway Towns is rapidly shrinking  at an alarming rate I now know that I have indeed been most fortunate in being born in 1945 and growing up in the 1950's and 60's when life was hard but people were different and happy has everyone had the same absolutely nothing but a sparce diet and a sense of humour to live on (LOL) here are a few images I took along the way.

 Good morning everyone yes I know its only 5am on a Sunday morning and its dark this morning I was going to tell you how I feel this morning but I don't think I shall bother (smile) my plans for to day is just to get through it one day at a time is the way to go, yesterday my walk a new one took me to the Thames and Medway canal it was about 3 miles I struggled a bit with my balance and my feet feeling like rubber we were very lucky that the gate was open to gain entry as you can see by the notice on the gate and crossing the railway line was a little bit scary but cross we did haven't done that for many a year but I always enjoy my walks with my Son Matt and it helps with my confidence if I am honest and no matter how you think you feel just keep smiling my friends.

 Well its been raining hard since early morning about 4am it started as I had just got up spent all of my life getting up at 4am been retired 16 years now and still can't stop getting up at 4am ,went out with Bella (my furry friend ) in the rain returned to take Susie out but she ran back in doors she doesn't like getting wet (smile)  .I am just about to go out for a walk and its still raining hard but there's something magical about walking in the rain and the reason is solely because I can and it washes away some of life's cobwebs along the way.

 Yesterday we went for a walk in the Rochester Forest in Upper Halling with my Son Matt it was just over 9000 steps a good challenging walk for yours truly still feeling the slight effects of my( nemesis/friend ) but still not giving in to it anyway I digress it was another lovely day in every way and most enjoyable as always, Here are a few images from my walk.

 Good afternoon my walk yesterday (Bank Holiday Monday) was a walk to my childhood playground so to speak when there was no traffic no mobile phones and you could  get a doctor's appointment the same day with ease almost just as the T V programme  "Darling buds of May" depicted  a complete and lovely way of life,I think I am feeling a little better every day or as I say about the thickness of a a sheet of tissue paper  that's how it goes I am still convinced that every day really is a Bonus and is a gift to be enjoyed however one feels ,you see to me this small piece of wasteland is all that remains of how the past once was and will remain so I hope for many years(they cannot build on it because it is full of Methane gas) LOL  anyway I digress enjoy what ever you are doing and don't forget keep smiling.
